The Falls Village Recreation Commission would like to hear from Falls Village residents who have an interest in serving on the Commission.
The Recreation Commission oversees a variety of responsibilities and programming. Among them being:
- The management and development of the Town Farm property
- Maintenance of the pool.
- Management of summer staffing and scheduling of the pool.
- Continued development of the property using old plans and helping to develop new plans.
- Program development and program partnerships with other Falls Village organizations
- Creative Kids Club Summer Program.
- Falls Village Ski Club winter program.
- Seasonal festivals and block parties.
- Annual Events
- Halloween Party.
- Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration.
- Easter Egg Hunt.
Members are expected to be at monthly meetings which are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Town Hall, 7pm. Members of the Commission serve three-year terms, and active participation is necessary by all members.
